Tyrolean carvings & fine arts and crafts - a piece of Tyrolean tradition at the Schönbrunn Christmas market.

Since 1996, the Oberschneider family has been delighting visitors to the Schönbrunn Palace Christmas Market with traditionally crafted nativity figures and fine handicrafts made of wood. We offer baroque figurines made of lime wood, painted with fine oil colours, as well as Tyrolean peasant figurines made of natural or painted Swiss stone pine. Modern cot figurines made of ash and maple wood complete our range, as do carved angels and cot blocks.

In addition to nativity figures, we also offer Christmas tree decorations and handicrafts such as bark pendants with Christmas motifs, branch wood candlesticks and artistically designed key rings - all handmade in the Tyrolean tradition.
