Tyrolean Woodcarvings & Fine Handicrafts – A Piece of Tyrolean Tradition at the Schönbrunn Christmas Market

Since 1996, the Oberschneider family has been delighting visitors to the Schönbrunn Palace Christmas Market with traditionally crafted nativity figures and fine wooden handicrafts. We offer Baroque figures made from lime wood and painted with high-quality oil colours, as well as Tyrolean farmer figures made from natural or painted Swiss stone pine. Modern nativity figures made from ash and maple wood complement our range, along with carved angels and nativity blocks.

In addition to nativity figures, we also offer Christmas tree decorations and handicrafts such as bark ornaments with Christmas motifs, branch wood candle holders and artistically designed keyrings – all handmade in keeping with Tyrolean tradition.
